Course Description

Enjoy personal instruction on all the automated features of Photoshop such as Auto-Align, so you can work with the program more efficiently. With the tips and tricks you’ll learn in this workshop, you’ll be able to improve your speed using Photoshop and spend more time using the creative tools to enhance your work. This class is ideal for anyone who works with Photoshop and wants to take their skills to the next level. 

Course Outline

The class is divided into three lessons.

Lesson 1 - Program Specific Automation
Include: Fit Image, Conditional Mode Change, Lens Correction Filter, Merge to HDR Pro, Photomerge (panoramas), Watermark Panel, Auto-Align
Layers, Auto-Blend Layers, Auto Straightening, Content Aware Fill, Built in Scripts

Lesson 2 -  Bridge Specific Automation
Include: Image Processor, Batch Renaming, Lens Correction, Loading Files into Layers, Merging to HDR Pro,

Lesson 3 – Actions
Action Basics, Sources for existing actions, Editing and Action, Creating and Action, Button Actions, Running Batches

Course Prerequisites

This class assumes you have working knowledge of computers and operating systems. It is assumed you know how to use your mouse, the standard menu and commands and how to open and save files. If you are bringing your own computer, make sure you have the version software that is being taught in the class. In the event that you are not knowledgeable in the use of computers, the instructor will not be able to take time away from the other students to teach you. One-on-one tutoring is available for a fee.
