Automating Your Workflow in Photoshop CS4/CS5

Course Description

From the beginning, Adobe has constantly added automation features to their programs. They recognize that there are many tasks we repeat and tasks that are easier done if they are automated. Many of these features are program specific like Fit Image or Align Layers. They can be used individually or incorporated into an Action that allows you to combine tasks and apply them to one or more files in batches. This online webinar covers all the automated features in Photoshop to help you improve speed up  your workflow and spend more time using creative tools to enhance your work.

Course Outline

The class is divided into three lessons.

Lesson 1 - Program Specific Automation
Include: Fit Image, Conditional Mode Change, Lens Correction Filter, Merge to HDR Pro, Photomerge (panoramas), Watermark Panel, Auto-Align
Layers, Auto-Blend Layers, Auto Straightening, Content Aware Fill, Built in Scripts

Lesson 2 -  Bridge Specific Automation
Include: Image Processor, Batch Renaming, Lens Correction, Loading Files into Layers, Merging to HDR Pro,

Lesson 3 – Actions
Action Basics, Sources for existing actions, Editing and Action, Creating and Action, Button Actions, Running Batches

Course Prerequisites

This is an online webinar. It's important that you have the latest version of you browser and the latest version of Flash. Please update both prior to the webinar. We will not be able to trouble shoot your system during the webinar as it will take away from the other attendees. However, we are happy to help you out afterwards so you will have better success for out next webinar.
